Syria is, in it's large sense, the region delimited by Turkey at the North, the Mediterranean sea at the West, the Eurphrates river at the East, and Sinai and the Red sea at the South. It englobes today's Arab Syrian Republic, Jordan, Lebanon, parts of Iraq, Palestine and occupied Palestinian territories called Israel by it's settlers.
